Hoca bir gün elinde kova, göl kıyısına iner. Kovadaki yoğurdu kaşık kaşık suya boşaltmaya başlar. Görenler koşup gelir: “Hocam, ne yapıyorsun?”
“Gölü mayalıyorum,” der Hoca. Gülüşürler. “Hoca, hiç göl maya tutar mı?” Hoca ellerini suda çalkalar, doğrulur, kalabalığa bakar.
“Tutmaz, biliyorum,” der. “Ama ya tutarsa?”
